KIDSON Hornpipes ms INFO

Frank Kidson was a Leeds based collector and antiquarian who lived from 1855 to 1926. He was a contemporary of Cecil Sharp and a collaborator with Anne Geddes Gilchrist, both influential in the collecting world.

This book of hornpipes was written down by Kidson in an empty book which bore the name Huddeswell. It is to be found in the Kidson Collection housed at the Mitchell Library in Glasgow.
