Since the project started in 1998, much information has been gathered concerning the whereabouts of manuscript books. Below is an index which is the first step in referencing what is known. Some manuscripts are known of because they are referred to in the writings of bygone researchers. In many cases their present whereabouts is unknown. This section is a rewrite of the page previously available on this site and is work in progress. As the site is gradually updated, more information pages from the original site will be added. There are approximately 100 manuscripts that we know about - they will all be eventually included in this list.
